Margot Ann DeArman, age 76, of Midland, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. She was born on August 6, 1948, the daughter of Leo and Isabel (Black) Coleman, in Midland. She graduated from Central Michigan University with her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art. Margot retired in 2007 from the Social Security Administration as a supervisor after 33 years of service.
On December 18, 1976, she married the love of her life, James C. DeArman II. Together, they shared many years of love and cherished memories until he preceded her in death in 2010.
Margot was an avid reader. She loved art, travelling, and playing cards. She always enjoyed going out to her favorite restaurants such as Legs Inn in Cross Village, Krzysiak’s in Bay City, and Iva’s Restaurant in Sterling.
She is survived by her daughter: Brigette (Adam) Loyd; step-sons: James C. DeArman III and Jon (Heather) DeArman; grandson: Carlos Antony Rocha; siblings: Tim Coleman, Christine Waugh, Mary Sullivan, Lisa Coleman, and Rob Coleman; daughter-by-extension: Julie Rodgers; best friend: Dolores Shelton; and nieces and nephews: Luke, Christopher, Kate, Darby, Devin, C.C., and Mariah.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and nephews, Christian Coleman & Jesse Waugh.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at 12 noon at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin. Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 29, 2025 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin. Visitation will also be held on Wednesday, from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Covenant Hospice Care in Saginaw and Brian’s House in Essexville.
