Louis Eugene Freeman, age 79, of Beaverton, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025. Louis was born on August 2, 1945, to Eugene Freeman Jr. and Irene (Murphy) Freeman, joining older sister Arlene.

Louis loved life on the family farm, enjoying the animals. He attended the Beaverton School System as a youth. Louis started his life career in 1968 at Robinson Industries of Coleman for 40 years until retiring in 2003.

In 1973, Louis found the love of his life, Darlene Miller of Detroit. United in marriage on September 28, 1974, the family increased to include daughters Erin and Melissa. They enjoyed many summer adventures of camping in the summer with family and friends. In 2003, Louis faced the loss of his wife, Darlene while also adjusting to the life change to retirement.

Louis enjoyed his daily delight with the boys at the Beaverton Coffee Shop and messing with the waitresses.

Louis is survived by his daughters: Erin Freeman (Kris Osborn) and Melissa (Jonathan) Muma; grandchildren: Taryn, Travis, Brayden, Ashlyn, and Abby Osborn and Kristi Osborn; sister: Judy Grooms of Laurel, Montana; along with extended family of in-laws and nieces and nephews.

Louis was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and sister, Arlene.

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Beaverton. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, in Beaverton. Louis will be laid to rest at Dale (Tobacco Township) Cemetery, in Beaverton.
