She was always a worker and held several positions throughout her lifetime, starting with the snack bar in Unionville. Lorna was a licensed beautician after graduating. She then took a position at a local school where she served as a teacher’s aide and a bus driver in Unionville School District. In South Branch she worked in the General Store and Kocher’s grocery in Hale. In Montana, she continued making sandwiches in the deli of a small market.

Lorna loved to go fishing and hiking wither her husband and they loved to travel together in the summer time. Lorna loved to entertain her family and would put on huge dinners at Thanksgiving and summer time picnics, especially while she and Mike lived in South Branch.
