Lois J. Price, 83, of Beaverton, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at the Toni & Trish House in Auburn, Michigan. In her last few days she was surrounded by family and friends, but most of all a guardian angel whom she spoke of that was by her side. She was born on March 5, 1935, the daughter of Ira & Florence (Klapp) Matthews in Detroit, Michigan. On January 19, 1957, she was united in marriage to Darrel Price. He preceded her in death in 2015. Left to cherish her memory is her children: Cheryl Price, Ron Price & Terri Price; grandchildren: Adam (Mindy) Dey, Bethany (Jonathan) Gillmore, Kyler Price, Kyle Kline & Reace Price; great grandchildren: Alexis & Jonathan Gillmore. She is also survived by her siblings: Bill Matthews, Nancy Seddon, Pat Cannon, Janet Jenson & Susan Jones; several nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; siblings: Barbara Miller, Donald Matthews & James Matthews. Honoring her wishes cremation will take place. Inurnment will be held at Billings Township Cemetery, Beaverton, Michigan, at a later date. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Toni & Trish House, Auburn, Michigan.
