Leslie Declerk, 51, of Midland, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024. He was born on August 5, 1972, the son of Leslie Declerk and Linda Versele, in Detroit, Michigan. Leslie was a bright and scholarly individual, graduating as valedictorian from East Detroit High School in 1990. He possessed a keen intellect and enjoyed engaging in discussions about religion, sharing his thoughts and insights with others.
Leslie found solace and enjoyment in various outdoor activities, particularly fishing, playing horseshoes, and tossing a Frisbee. He also had a fondness for watching football, finding excitement and entertainment in the sport.
He is survived by his father: Leslie Declerk; and his brother: Ronald Steven Declerk; along with many aunts, uncles, and extended family members.
Leslie is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Linda.
