Leonard Kareus, 66, of Marlette, previously from Gladwin, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022. He was born on November 13, 1955, the son of Leonard and Mary ( Codden ) Kareus in Detroit. He was employed for Local 85 in Saginaw and Local 636 in Detroit as a pipefitter until his retirement. He loved hunting, farming and the great outdoors.

He is survivied by his children: Jeremiah (Jasmine) Kareus of Pinconning, Ryan Kareus of Beaverton, and Janet (Tony) Blackall of Pierson; grandchildren: Zoe, Scarlette, Axle, Alex, Christopher, and Seirra; his parents: Leonard and Mary; and his brother: Dan (Mary Lou) Kareus. Leonard also leaved behind his girlfriend: Betty Bowers of Marlette.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, May 5, 2022, 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, from 3-8:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin.
