Lauralee Jones

Lauralee Jones, age 78, of Gladwin, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024. She was born on September 24, 1946, the daughter of Alfred and Maxine (Cole) Lennon, in Kirksville, MO. Lauralee was a hard-working employee as a business manager for her father’s office for many years. In August of 1996, she married the love of her life, Norman Jones, in Riverview, MI, and together they shared many years of love and cherished memories.

Lauralee had a passion for Civil War reenactments, finding joy in creating her own period-accurate clothing. She was also an avid gardener who loved tending to her plants which she often used in many different cultural dishes that she would make. She loved making food from Greece, Italy, India, china, and Ireland.

She is survived by her husband, Norman; her son: Matthew Neal; grandchildren: Caitlyn Neal and Breanna Neal; her brother: Robert Lee (Kit) Lennon; and her sister: Kathleen (Ken) Mullen, along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, John Lennon.

Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service is being planned for a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. www.hallkokotovichfuneralhome.com
