Larry R. Meehle, 86, of Gladwin, Michigan, passed away at his home on Saturday, August 26, 2017. He was born on April 30, 1931, the son of Harold & Caroline (Vernon) Meehle in Flint, Michigan. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. On September 15, 1962, he was united in marriage to Frieda Parker in Durand, Michigan. She preceded him in death in 2007. He was employed as a welder for General Motors in Flint, Michigan until his retirement in 1986. He was a member of the West Branch Masonic Lodge and the U.A.W. Local 659. He has lived in Gladwin County since 1986, previously residing in Lennon, Michigan. Left to cherish his memory is his children: Timothy (Suzanne) Meehle of Orlando, Florida; Leslieann (Steven) Sines of Clare, Michigan; Vern (Randi) Meehle of Midland, Michigan; 3 grandchildren: Alexis, Ethan & David; brother: Ted (Margaret) Meehle of Flushing, Michigan. He is preceded in death by his wife: Frieda; parents; brother: James Meehle; sister in-law: Norma Meehle. Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor Brad Withrow on Thursday, August 31, 2017, 1:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. He will be laid to rest on Friday, September 1, 2017, 1:00 P.M. at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc, Michigan.
