Kristina R. Garafalo

Kristina Rose Garafalo, 18, of Gladwin, Michigan passed away suddenly in Midland, Michigan on Friday, August 11, 2017. She was born on September 26, 1998 in Troy, Michigan the daughter of Anthony & Dana (August) Garafalo. She was a member of the National Honor Society and graduated Valedictorian, class of 2017 from Gladwin High School and had been accepted to attend Central Michigan University on a full Academic Scholarship. She was a lifetime resident of Gladwin County and she was employed at Chee Peng in Gladwin, and attended Gail Wildfong School of Dance. Although her time here was way too short, she was a very gifted and ambitious young lady who made her parents very proud. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her parents: Anthony & Dana Garafalo; brother: Jacob Garafalo; grandmothers: Genevieve August of Gladwin; Nancy Garafalo of Texas; grandfather: Vincent Garafalo of Sterling Heights as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Waiting to receive her in her heavenly home is her grandfather: Ronald August and her uncle: James Russell. Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor James Krach on Wednesday, August 16, 2017, 11:00 A.M., with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Gladwin, Michigan.
