Kevin Klott

Kevin A. Klott, age 60, of Sugar Springs in Gladwin, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025 peacefully at home. Throughout a long battle with cancer, he displayed incredible strength and unwavering hope. 

Kevin was born on May 11, 1964, the son of Robert Klott and Cynthia Danielski, in Royal Oak, MI. After earning his bachelor’s degree from Oakland University, Kevin built a successful 34-year career in IT services.

Kevin was a true sportsman. He enjoyed all kinds of sports including football, golf and hockey playing in many leagues over the years. He attended many live music shows, Detroit and Michigan State games, and nascar races. He loved spending summers Up North, going out on the boat, golfing in Sugar Springs, and ending the night around the bonfire. Kevin always took care of his loved ones, taking breakfast orders in the morning and grilling in the evening.

Kevin is dearly missed by his beloved children Carley (Matthew) Cote, Paige Klott, Kevin J. Klott, as well as his brother Camron (Lisa) Klott and their children, Danielle and Christian. Step father William Frankowski. Also, his former wife, Elizabeth (Zawadzki) and cousins Amanda (Jason), Mark (Robin), Jeff (Lisa), and Todd (Paula) along with several other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his father and step-mother, Robert and Bonnie Klott, his mother, Cynthia Frankowski and Grandparents Harry (Ludmilla) Danielski. Also, In-laws Raymond Zawadzki and Bonnie Carley and his dear friend Marty Grattan.
