Kevin B. Ellis, 62, of Gladwin, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023. He was born on July 3, 1960, the son of Kenneth and Marilyn (Hutson) Ellis in Gladwin. Kevin graduated from Gladwin High School in 1979 and worked as a Journeyman Pipefitter by trade. On March 5, 2019, he was united in marriage to his wife Deborah in Treasure Island, Florida. Kevin was a proud University of Michigan Football fan. He displayed his favorite teams colors, always supporting the Maize and Blue. He was an aspiring cowboy at heart, and never passed on the opportunity to wear his cowboy attire, especially the hat and boots. He was also a talented artist and loved traveling with his family. He played along with coaching and supporting his girls through many years of softball. He adored his wife, loved his kids, and was the most proud papa to his grandchildren.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife: Debb; children: Jessica (Michael) Brubaker, Josie (Coty) Brooks, and Shelby Ellis (Ryan Tabaszewski); step-children: Stephanie Ott and Trevor (Kelly) Koepplinger; 11 grandchildren: Hensley, Landon, Braxton, Maci, Ellie, River, Rylan, Brezlyn, Keigon, Hoyt, and Remmy; parents: Kenneth and Marilyn Ellis; and sister: Julie Ellis.

He is preceded in death by his sister: Cheri Lake and grandparents: Wayne and Eleanor Ellis.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, April 1, 2023, 1:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. He will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery, Gladwin. Memorial Contributions may be made according to the family. www.hall-kokotovichfuneralhome.com
