Kerry D. Posey

Kerry D. Posey, 68, of Beaverton, Michigan passed away in St. Louis, Michigan on Monday, September 24, 2018. He was born in Pontiac, Michigan on April 10, 1950 the son of Grant & Leona (Schultz) Posey. Kerry married Janet Yager, who predeceased him in 2014. He was owner/operator of the Main Street Café in Beaverton and the Beaverton City Manager. He was employed at the Gladwin County Sheriff’s Department and Beaverton City Police. His memory will be forever cherished by his sons: Brian (Christie) Posey of Alma; Bruce (Celia) Posey also of Alma; step sons: Marc (Amber) Moore of Imlay City; Craig (Heather) Moore of Beaverton; step daughter: Amanda Moore of Beaverton. He was blessed with 11 grandchildren: Adrian, Autumn, Cole, Logan, Marcus, Nevaeh, Randi, Erica, Sophia, Brandon and Victoria. He will be dearly missed by his sisters: Lois A. Gallihugh, Linda (Bill) Costanza, Laurel (Jerry) Caldwell, Leann Posey; brother: Kevin (Lois Ann) Posey; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife: Janet Posey; parents: Grant and Leona Posey; brother in-law: Doral Gallihugh; his niece: Kimberly Gallihugh; in-laws: Jerry and Arlene Yager. Funeral services will be conducted by Brad Lower on Saturday, October 6, 2018, 2:00 P.M, with visitation beginning at 12:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan.
