Kenneth Alan Holnagel, our loving husband, step-dad, brother, uncle and grandpa passed away February 23, 2023 after suffering cardiac arrest. He was born March 22, 1964, to the late Kenneth Holnagel and
Barbara Holnagel-Hatton. He married the love of his life
Kimberly Raymond on September 27, 2003, who survives him.
Ken had a passion for being outdoors. He couldn't wait for October to start bow hunting and November for opening day of rifle season so he could go out to the deer camp with his hunting buddies. He enjoyed grilling outside all winter long, sitting by the bonfire and working in the garden. He spent a lot of time in his shed talking on the phone to
family, friends and cousin Michael O'toole and enjoyed the many years of bottling wine with his friend Cindy.
Ken has two step children Daryl Raymond (Janiece) and Zack Raymond (LaKeisha). He will be greatly missed by his 5 grandchildren Zack Jr, Alexander, Daryl the 4th, Haylee and Kendra, sisters Tina Grocholski (Gary), Anne Holnagel (Steve), step-sister Suzanne Wolgast, brother in-law Doug VanSumeren, many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Ken was preceded in death by his sister Tammy VanSumeren, step-dad Richard Hatton, many aunts and uncles and some very close friends.
Cremation has taken place per Kens wishes. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday March 4, 2023, 1:00 P.M. at the Hall Funeral Home, 440 E Cedar Avenue, Gladwin. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy, envelopes will be made available for the family's wishes.
