Keith Scott Major, 58, of Harrison, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023. Born on October 9, 1965, in Flint, MI. He was employed as a Plumber/ Pipefitter for Local 370 in Flint, before moving to Harrison.

Keith cherished the outdoors and found joy in hunting and the art of knife making. His love for cars was evident, reflecting his passion for automobiles, especially his classics. He had a particular fondness for unsweetened tea and loved his boxer dogs. Keith enjoyed spending time with his family. His love and respect for his mother, Peggy, was a true testimony to their relationship.

He is survived by his mother, Peggy Major; siblings, Deresa Schmidt (Jim McGuire) and Kim (Barry) Mathis; nephew, Torre (Lindsey) Ruble; great-nieces, Khloe Tracy and Naomi Ruble; and cousin, Vincent VanNorman.

Keith is preceded in death by his father, Darwin Major, and his brother, Darwin Major Jr.

Funeral services to celebrate Keith’s life will take place on Thursday, January 4, 2024, 1:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin.  The family will receive guests from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. He will be laid to rest at Butman Township Cemetery, Gladwin. Memorial contributions may be made according to the wishes of the family.
