Katherine Lucier, 74, of Gladwin, passed away at the Gladwin Pines on Sunday, May 9, 2021. She was born on November 16, 1946, the daughter of John and Rosemary (Pfluger) Sage in Highland Park. She was united in marriage to Larry Lucier on June 14, 1969, in Southgate, MI. They cherished 51 years of marriage together. She was also employed at the US Postal Service as a mail carrier in Lincoln Park and created countless friendships with many on her mail route. Katherine was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and friend, whose hugs were cherished by all. She loved animals, especially her fur baby Boots, who was always by her side. Kathy also was an accomplished quilter, gardener and had an amazing ability to always find a solution to any problem. She was compassionate, empathetic and loved to laughed...she will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure to know her.
She is survived by her husband: Larry Lucier of Gladwin, sons: Michael (Darcy) Lucier of Hiram, GA and Randall (Beth) Lucier of Rochester Hills, MI, daughter: Jennifer (Ken) Finkel of Lincoln Park, MI, and grandchildren: Lucas, Stella, Max, Macey, and April. Along with that, she is survived by her brother: Jack Sage, sister: Rose Kucharek and many nieces and nephews.
She is proceeded in death by her parents and sister: Carol Delosier.
Cremation will be taking place. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home-Gladwin.
