Katharina "Liz" Mccreedy

Katharina "Liz" McCreedy, 86, of Gladwin, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023. She was born on October 21, 1936 in Geilenkirchen, Germany. She was married to Edmund on September 1, 1962. They celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary on September 1, 2023.

To keep busy, she spent her spare time as a Rosary maker. She made thousands of rosaries, which were eventually sent to missions all over the world.

She was a prayer warrior. She prayed for everybody's cause or concern. She was friendly and loved being around people. One of her greatest loves was chocolate, especially the German chocolate her sister's sent her. She will be missed by all.

She is survived by her husband: Edmund and sisters: Maria, Margot, and Josephine, all three sisters live in Germany.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father: Margarete and Johann Koch and her brothers: Edmund and Bert.

Funeral Mass will be conducted by Monsignor Francis Koper on Saturday, October 14, 2023, 11:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Gladwin.
