Karen Kay Donn, age 78 of Gladwin, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday June 14, 2022 at Mid-Michigan Health in Gladwin, MI. She was born on March 13, 1944, the daughter of Harry and Monia Longstreth in Gladwin, MI. Later in life she was united in marriage to Doyle Donn.
In Karen’s early years she worked at the Gladwin Hospital, and then later Karen and Doyle purchased Chappel Dam Grocery for many years, however, she retired from the Register of Deeds office.
Karen was such a loving wife, mother, mother in law, grandmother, and great grandmother and of course friend to many. Karen was always smiling and loved life at its best.
Left to cherish and carry on her memories is husband Doyle Donn: children: Kelly (Mike) Otto of Farwell, Troy (Kim) Donn of Gladwin, and Jennifer (Gary) McCulloch of Gladwin. Grandchildren: Taylor Otto (Brittany), Cameron (McKenzie) Otto, Tyler (Kelly) Donn, Stephen (Laura- fiancé) Donn, Nikki (Kevin) McKeever, Alyssa (Grant) Fritz and Dakotah McGuire. She was also a great grandmother to 13. Siblings and in laws: Marion Linton sister, Bonnie (Joe) Brady sister in law, Gordan (Linda) Donn brother in law.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Monia (Sid) Brimmer, Harry Longstreth. In Laws: Rowland (Donna) Donn. Siblings: Jim Lonstreth, Joan –Brown Tacey.
