John "J.J." Eisler, age 79, of Beaverton, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024. He was born on February 17, 1944, the son of Joseph and Elsie (Bain) Eisler in Riverside, California.
On November 7, 1964, he was united in marriage to Janet Mueller in Saginaw. John dedicated many years of his life to General Motors until his retirement. Before he worked for General Motors (Saginaw Steering Gear) he worked for Ace Associates in Bridgeport and Universal Engineering in Frankenmuth. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, and playing cards. A devoted member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Gladwin, he found solace and community in his faith.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Janet Eisler; daughters: Sheryl Eisler, Christine (James) Miller, and Connie (Brad) Coggins; grandchildren: Merissa (Jimmy) Godoy, Charles Ragan, Richard Eisler, Adam Yaklin, Justin Coggins, Mollie Miller, and Caleb Miller; great-grandchildren: Konor Godoy and Baylee Godoy; and sister: JoAnn Dodge.
John is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, February 16, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Gladwin. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024, from 4-8:00 P.M. at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Gladwin. He will be laid to rest at Roselawn Cemetery, Saginaw. Memorial contributions may be made according to the wishes of Our Savior Lutheran Church or Trailside Senior Center, Midland. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home.
