John Henry Henshaw

John Henry Henshaw, 79, of Beaverton, Michigan, passed away at his house on Friday, March 23, 2018. He was born on February 25, 1939, the son of Samuel & Geneva Henshaw in Mt. Morris, Michigan. On November 28, 1998, he was united in marriage to Charlotte Snooks in Gladwin, Michigan. He worked construction with Eastern Asphalt in the Flint area until his retirement. John loved making crafts and was a lead guitar player in a country band. He loved his oldies. He has lived in Gladwin County for the past 35 years, previously residing in Mt. Morris. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 19 years: Charlotte Henshaw of Beaverton; 11 children; 31 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; & 9 great great grandchildren. He is also survived by 3 sisters: Gladis (Wayne), Margaret, Pearl (Bill); brother in-law: Ken Snooks; sister in-laws: Tootie Vela & Jeannette Slaybaugh. Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor Brad Lower on Monday, March, 26, 2018, 1:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
