John M. Haus, 93, of Gladwin, passed away on June 8, 2023. He was born on September 30, 1929, the son of John and Anna (Mayer) Haus. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Baker and they have celebrated 56 years of marriage together. John was a veteran and served in the U.S. Navy. He loved sports especially Baseball, Football, and Golf. He was very active in St. John’s Lutheran Church while being an Elder, past board member, and the financial secretary.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife: Dorothy; daughters: Diane (Walt) Ratinski and Diane (Dave) Fox; son: John E. Haus; grandchildren: Hayden Fox and Troy Fox (Jessica).
He is proceeded in death by his parents and brother: Steve Haus
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023, 11:00 A.M. at St. John Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held at 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Services will be conducted by Pastor Daniel Babinec. He will be laid to rest at St. John Cemetery. Donations in John’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
