John Drummond, 87, of Beaverton, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023. He was born on June 26, 1935, the son of Angus and Celeste Drummond. On May 10, 1981, he was united in marriage to his wife Rosy. He owned his own construction business in Midland, Drummond Framing. He graduated from Andrews University and taught school until he went into building. John was a hard worker and pushed himself to do more. He was well respected for his work. He could fix anything. He changed motors in vehicles and had many talents. He was always sharing and was always known for his generosity. He was an ordained Elder, Deacon, and Teacher at the church. He will always be remembered as kind and affectionate husband, always helpful, and going the extra mile.
He is survived by his wife: Rosy Drummond; children: Don (Bernadine) Drummond and Steve Drummond; step children: Rita (Matt) Loar and Rory Iverson; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Laura Lanuel and Mary Lou (Bob) McCann.
He is preceded in death by his parents; 3 sisters; and 2 brothers.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023, 3:00 P.M. at Edenville Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, from 3-6:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton.
