John "Bill" W. Fetterolf

John “Bill” William Fetterolf, 78, of Gladwin, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 after a courageous 2 year battle with cancer. Bill was born on March 3, 1939 the son of Grant & Annabelle (Fiser) Fetterolf in Gladwin where he was raised and lived his entire life. On May 2, 1959 he married his wife of 58 years, Sandy Heath in Gladwin. In his retirement, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and taking off for the day to see what he and Sandy might find. He was a member of F.O.E. Gladwin Aerie 3292, and he was also known as the man on Weber Rd. who sat on his porch and waved at every vehicle that went by, right hand if he knew you, left hand if he didn’t, because you never knew when you may need them. Bill is survived by his loving wife: Sandy; their children: Kim (Cal) McIntosh; Terrie (Andy) Sheehan; Doug (Kris) Fetterolf. His children blessed him with 10 beautiful grandchildren and 10 precious great grandchildren. He will also be dearly missed by 1 brother: Raymond Fetterolf; 2 sisters: Lorraine Nickless; Rosie Cronk; 2 sister in-laws: Becky Breault and Cleo (Ward) Heath. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister: Eloise Bigelow; son in-law: Ron Strohkirch; sister in-laws: Carolyn, Penney, Cathern Fetterolf; brother in-laws: Bob Cronk, Junior Bigelow, Jerry Nickless, Ward Heath and Joe Heath. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place and Memorial Services will be conducted on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at the Gladwin Eagles. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 19, 2017 from 5-8:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan.  As a special request from Bill that there be no flowers, his wishes for Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers are to be used according to the wishes of the family. www.hallkokotovichfuneralhome.com
