Joann Malenfant, 66, of Gladwin, Michigan, passed away on May 31, 2017 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center, Midland. She was born on June 4, 1950, the daughter of Leonel & Fern (Spohn) Hayward in Gladwin, Michigan. She was united in marriage on February 4, 1997, to Tom Malenfant in Gladwin, Michigan. Joann loved fishing and among her many hobbies her favorite was spending time with her family, she loved her children and her grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 20 years: Tom Malenfant; children: Tommy Malenfant; Vickie (Gordon) Breger; Scott (Angel) Malenfant; Micheal (Julie) Porter; Kelly (Steve) Sherwood; Debbie (Chris) McLean; John (Loretta) McCann; 17 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; mother in-law: Helen (Peggy) Malenfant; sister: Donna Cook; and many nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter in-law: Janice Malenfant; 3 brothers; and 5 sisters. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be conducted at a later date.
