Joan Nina Morin, 77, of Beaverton, MI, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023. She was born on August 7, 1945 the daughter of Joseph and Ida (DeMarzo) Curtale. Joan married Arthur Morin of Beaverton and were together for 34 years before he passed away on March 18, 2021. She worked as an assembly worker for Ford before her retirement. Joan always loved to have a good time as she enjoyed playing games on her Ipad, barbecuing, and having breakfast with her friends: Gloria and Liz. She also liked going to the casino and playing slot machines Her sister Flo Caster. Above all she enjoyed spending time with her family and being a grandmother to her grandkids.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Lisa Ann Magnus and Todd Jerome Magnus; grandchildren: Autumn and Hunter; and 2 great grandchildren: Oceana and Anthony.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Arthur P. and son: Jeffery S. Magnus.
A cremation has taken place and memorial services are tentative. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. Service on Thursday July 13 2023 at 6 pm at the funeral home and memorial on August 7 2023 at 1:30 pm at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly Michigan. A wake is immediately following at Avia's Restaurant in Holly, Michigan. (When we get close to the date we will notify everyone...)
