Joan L. Dulac, 85, of Gladwin, Michigan passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018. She was born in Saginaw, Michigan on May 3, 1933 the daughter of George & Dorothy (Hoffmann) Punches. On April 5, 1958 she was united in marriage to Louis Dulac in Saginaw. Joan was employed with Buena Vista High School as a Guidance Secretary when she decided to stay at home and raise her children. She raised her family in Bridgeport, Michigan until 1986 and upon her retirement moved to Gladwin County where she became Director of the Clare/Gladwin Literacy Program for several years. Her memory will be forever cherished by her loving husband of 60 wonderful years, Louis Dulac of Gladwin; 2 sons: Mark (Julie) Dulac; Rich (Jeanette) Dulac; daughter: Holly Huffman. Her children blessed her with 6 beautiful grandchildren: Jeremy Dulac; Evan Dulac; Luke Dulac; Sara Carver; Elizabeth Verhey and Elle Young; 2 precious great grandchildren: Dean Dulac and Kylie Carver. She will be sadly missed by her brother: George Punches; sister: Carole Morgan. She is preceded in death by her parents: George & Dorothy Punches. Memorial Services will be conducted on Saturday, November 3, 2018, 11:00 A.M., with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 331 Clendening St., Gladwin, Michigan. A luncheon will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The American Cancer Society. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan.
