Gerald “Jerry” Dell Kaleto, age 89, of Gladwin, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024. Born on July 19, 1935, in Royal Oak, MI, he was the son of Roy and Helen Kaleto. On June 29, 1956, Jerry married the love of his life, Inez Robinson, in Gladwin. They shared 68 years of love and memories together. Jerry worked as the Sales Manager at Robinson Industries for many years until his retirement. Jerry was a licensed pilot who found immense joy in flying his plane. He also loved camping, boating, skiing, traveling and farming. Above all, Jerry loved spending quality time with his family, who meant everything to him.
Jerry is survived by his beloved wife: Inez Kaleto; his daughters: Nancee (Rod) Crites, Brenda (Tim) Mayer, and Joanne (Mark) Weidner; grandchildren: Becky Crites, Bethany (Steve) Powlus, Heather (Kevin) Babb, Justin (Melissa) Mayer, Joel (Hayley) Mayer, Janie (Adam) Board, Luke Weidner, and Sara (Nathan) Bachert; and great-grandchildren: Lexi, Cavan, Easton, Levi, Wyatt, BellaJane, Declan, Raeghan, Ava, and twins expected in November. He is also survived by his siblings: RuthAnn (Mark) Robinson-Fleege, Richard (Carole) Kaleto, and Stanley Kaleto, along with several nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Helen Kaleto.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Grace Christian Church in Gladwin. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, August 28, from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin.
