Jerry D. Cassiday, 82, of Sanford, MI passed away in the loving arms of his family on Sunday, December 19, 2021. He was born August 3, 1939 the son of Evert and Alfreda (Pero) Cassiday in Gladwin, MI. In June of 1958 he was united in marriage to the love of his life Janet Lousie (VanEver). He spent his working years as an ironworker out of Local 25 for 30 years. Jerry was a hardworking man, an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman. One of his favorite things to do was take long road trips on the back roads.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife: Janet; children: Lyndy (Mike) Anger, Cyndy (Gary) Sasse, Wyndy (Elvin) Johnson, Jerry (Jackie) Cassiday, Terri (Dave) Smith; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchild; 1 great-great-grandchild and one on the way; siblings: Duane (Lou) Cassiday; Bob (Linda) Cassiday; Dana (Deb) Cassiday, Rushell Porter, and Bonnie Martis.

Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, December 22, 2021 beginning at 1:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. The family will be receiving guests from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. He will be laid to rest at New Edenville Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, MI.
