Jeremy A. Zeitz, 40, of Gladwin, passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 24, 2020. He was born on June 17, 1980, the son of Charles and Penny (Muma) Zeitz in West Branch. Jeremy married the love of his life Carrie Billand on January 14, 2006 in Gladwin. They have three children: Jeffrey, Jacob, and Hailey. Jeremy loved the great outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his dirt bike, and anything to do with nature. He was a devoted father that traveled all over the state (and Canada) to watch his sons play hockey, and recently enjoyed watching Hailey in her first dance recital. Jeremy was loved by so many people.
Jeremy worked for Anlaan Corporation for the past 15 years doing bridge construction. He started out as a laborer, and worked his way up to a carpenter, and then a superintendent. He loved what he did, and was very meticulous, and well respected.
Jeremy is survived by his wife: Carrie of Gladwin; 2 sons: Jeffrey and Jacob; daughter: Hailey; parents: Charles and Penny Zeitz of Gladwin; in-laws: Bob and Cathy Billand of Gladwin; 3 sisters: Shannon (Troy) Genow of Hemlock, Heather Zeitz of Gladwin, Casie (Jordan) Kreisman of Grand Rapids; sister in-laws: Heather (Jon) Miller of Huger, South Carolina, Amy (Chris) Walker of Waterford, Catie (Anthony) Jenkins of Midland; nieces and nephews: Drew, Hollis, Brynlee, Evie, Casey, Shelby, Taylor, Anna, John, Eve; Grandparents: Aaron and Joan Muma of Gladwin.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Herb and Norma Zeitz, Carrie’s grandparents: Alphonse and Eleanor Billand, and Joseph and Mary Brown.
Private Funeral Services will take place. The family will be accepting guests for visitation on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, from 2-8:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin.
