Jennette Govitz, age 77, of Gladwin, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024. She was born on December 20, 1946, the daughter of Russell DeBolt and Katherine Meyer, in Saginaw, MI. Jennette worked as a dental assistant until her retirement. On July 3, 1964, she married John Govitz in Gladwin, and they shared 58 years of love and memories together.
Jennette had a passion for collecting owls, enjoyed playing bunko and euchre. She was known for narrating Christmas Programs at Daniel's Band Church. Her greatest love of life was her family, watching the kids in sports, and adoring her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years: John; sons: Jason (Amber) Govitz and Josh (Brittany) Govitz; grandchildren: Kailey, Kobe, Trinity, Max, Bella, Sydney, Kingston, Trey, and Stevie; as well as her siblings: Kay McMillan, of Texas and Duane DeBolt.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Russell.
Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Daniel's Band Church, Beaverton. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 5, 2024, from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin.
