Jeffrey VanMeter, 51, of Gladwin, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. He was born on August 7, 1970, in San Francisco, CA, to Lou and Linda VanMeter.
Jeffrey attended Midland High School and accomplished a project manager degree from Northwood University. Jeffrey enjoyed many years working construction with his father before traveling the country building museum exhibits. In his free time Jeffrey enjoyed spending time with friends and family working on cars, and riding his motorcycles, spending time with his 2 cats, Oliver and Cola and his dog, Peanut.
Left to cherish his memory are his son: Nathan (Rachel) VanMeter; parents: Lou and Linda VanMeter; sister: Jennifer (David) DeShazer, nieces: Arden and Hadley; his love and his life partner: Carri Keen; his bonus children: Nathan and Allison Keen; his ex wife and friend: Amy VanMeter; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and bonus-bonus children Grace Gaiser and the DERP Clan.
Jeffrey will be remenbered for his kindness, generosity, his smile, and his sense of humor and his big hugs.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, 7:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, from 5-7:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin.
