Jean Allbee

Jean E. Allbee age 82 of Beaverton, Mi., passed away on February 20 ^th , 2021, at home surrounded by her loving family and lifelong friend Beatrice Ryan. Jean was born on February 3 ^rd , 1939, in Clare, Mi., to James and Thelma (Pitts) Rawson.

On November 15 ^th , 1954, Jean married Richard F. Allbee. (Dad) was the love of her life, and they shared 63 years of marriage together.

Jean was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Jean was a hard worker, and spent her life serving others. She worked for years building a business and taking care of adults with special needs, along with helping Dad run his wrecker business (Beaverton Towing). Jean loved helping those in need. Most of all she loved her family.

Jean leaves behind one brother Dale and wife Wanda Rawson of Farwell, Mi., 5 of her 6 children. Daughter Kathleen, and husband James Burgess of Beaverton, Son Carl, and wife Barbara Allbee of Beaverton, Daughter Marlene, and husband Kelly Akiyama of Beaverton, Daughter Thelma Allbee of Gladwin, and Son Darren Allbee of Beaverton. Also, to cherish her memory are 18 of her 19 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

Jean is proceeded in death by her Husband Richard F. Allbee, parents James and Thelma (Pitts) Rawson, Father-in-law George (Dewey) D. Allbee, Mother-in-Law Doris M. Allbee, Brother Carl A. Rawson, Brother William (Billy) R. Rawson, Daughter Barbara J. Dougherty, Grand Daughter Alicia Dougherty, 2 great grandsons Zachary Dougherty and Gavin M. Neff along with many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Beaverton Nazarene Church on Tuesday, February 23 ^rd , 2021, at 11:00 with visitation starting at 10:00 am prior to the service.
