Janet K. Nixon, 78, of Gladwin passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. She was born on June 14, 1944 the daughter of Odell and Margret (Anderson) Fielding in Jackson, MI. On July 11, 1970 she married Richard “Dick” Nixon, he preceded her in death in 2014. She graduated from Adrian College and was a teacher for Gladwin Community Schools. She taught second grade and elementary physical education until her retirement. She liked to stay active and enjoy golfing and supporting Flying G’s athletics. She was a member of Christian Celebration Center in Midland for many years until recently attending the Assembly of God Church in Gladwin. Her devotion to faith took her on many mission trips where she was able to experience many new adventures.
Left to cherish her memory is her children: Mathew (Virginia) Nixon, Michael (Megan) Nixon, Jeff (Kathy) Nixon, and Troy (Midge) Nixon; 16 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and brother: John (Mary) Fielding.
She is preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, 11:00 A.M. at the Assembly of God Church, Gladwin. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 10, 2023, from 3-7:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin.
