Janet Harris, 72, of Houghton Lake, passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021. She was born on July 30, 1948, the daughter of Kenneth and Edna McDonald in Flint. On August 28, 1965, she was united in marriage to Harmon (Dennis) Harris at Bethel Assembly of God in Burton. Janet was employed as a Food Service Director for Atherton Schools until her retirement.
Janet was an avid Elvis and Detroit Tigers Fan. She especially loved her family.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 55 years: Dennis Harris of Houghton Lake; children: Dennis (Sherry) Harris of Gladwin and Michelle Johnson of Flint; 4 granddaughters: Amber, Amanda, Andrea, and Emily; 2 great grandchildren: Alexis and Matthew; along with her siblings: Linda Brown, Junior McDonald, and Denny McDonald.
She is preceded in death by her parents, grandson in-law: Chad, and great granddaughter: Allyvia Grace.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Harris will be conducted on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, 2:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, from 12:00 noon until the time of service.
