James H. Cornell "JC","Jimmy".
August 03, 1957- April 10, 2023
We lost a treasured soul on April 10th 2023. James H. Cornell also known as Jimmy or JC. He passed away in his sleep at McLaren Hospital in Flint. Jimmy was a self proclaimed, "Wild Child." He loved having fun and was often the life of the party. Many of our greatest stories start with Jimmy. He also had a passion for building "Chopper" bikes. He was very proud of them and liked to show them off any chance he could. JC was the youngest of four siblings and also the last one standing. He is predeceased by his parents Dorothy and Charles Cornell, his siblings; Linda Loar (Cornell), Charles 'Chuck' Cornell 2nd, and Helen 'Sug' Detrick (Cornell). He is survived by his nieces and nephews; Brian Detrick, Teresa Detrick, Brenda Detrick, Deborah Piech, Leanne Fritcher, Dawn Simmons, Anita Loar, Rachel Gatche, Joe Rowley, Emily Lugo and their families. His close friends Tom, Aubrey, Dale, Rick and many other friends and family members. Jimmy did not want a funeral held for him. Funerals are sad. He wanted us to celebrate his life with a party so that's what we will do. We will celebrate the life of our unforgettable uncle and our dear friend Jimmy Cornell, around a bon fire just like he wanted.
Service will be held at:
4749 Roehrs Rd. Beaverton MI.
May 06 at 6pm.
