James Clark Sr.

James E. Clark Sr., 82, of Gladwin, Michigan, passed away at  the Gladwin Pines Nursing Home on Saturday, May 26, 2018. He was born on December 18, 1935, the son of George & Margaret (Hughes) Clark in Tuscola County, Michigan. On September 6, 1958, he was united in marriage to Patricia Powell in Flushing, Michigan. She preceded him in death on March 18, 2018. He was employed by Pontiac Steel until his retirement as a sheer operator. James has lived in Gladwin County since 1990 previously residing in Mt. Morris. Left to cherish his memory is his daughters: Roseann (Thomas) Wills of Gladwin; Annette Clark & Darold Lieberman of Gladwin; Gloria (Jeff) Lyons of Gladwin; son: James Jr. (Tracy) Clark also of Gladwin; daughter: Angela (Kip) Genaw of Sears. He was blessed 7 beautiful grandchildren: John, Kyle, Jake, Emily, Ethan, Dakota & Gracey; 3 precious great grandchildren: Sarah, Josaf & Amelia. He is also survived by his sister: Donna (Alfred) Rosenfeldt of Cheboygan, Michigan and his lifelong family friend: Isabel Quintanilla of Mt. Morris, Michigan. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; sister: Dorothy Oldham; brothers: William Clark, Robert Clark & George “Sonny” Clark. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held later this year.
