Hope E. Carnahan, 78, of Beaverton, Michigan, passed away at her home on Thursday, November 23, 2017. She was born on September 17, 1939, the daughter of George & Isabelle (Carr) Yates in Beaverton. In 1956, she was united in marriage to her husband Richard Carnahan in Beaverton. She was employed as a waitress and was employed by various restaurants in Clare and Gladwin. She was a member of the Coleman Assembly of God. She loved flowers, gardening, reading and also enjoyed sewing and quilting. Left to cherish her memory is her husband: Richard Carnahan of Beaverton; son: Rick (Lisa) Carnahan of Nebraska; daughter: Dawn Carnahan of Clare; son: James (Adele) Carnahan of Gladwin; son: Joe (Chris) Carnahan of Gladwin; daughter: Lori (Bob) Whitty of Duluth, Minnesota; 17 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; brother: Jim (Gala) Yates of Beaverton; many nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings: George, Edith, Alice, Jane & Larry. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton, Michigan.
