Harvey Lee Dykgraaf passed into the arms of his divine creator Sunday Morning May 28, 2017 after a second courageous battle with cancer. A longtime resident of Gladwin, Harv touched many people with his gift of gab and his slab wood business and a fifty plus year career as a semi-truck driver. Harv was preceded in death by his mother and father, Brother Nels and a sister Laura. He is survived by a brother Nathan Dykgraaf and sisters June Ardema, Myrna DeJonge and Carla Lokkers. His loving wife of fifteen years Patty Dykgraaf (Govitz). And his three children Gerrit, Christine and Brent, numerous grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He will be sorely missed by his coffee shop, hunting, fishing, church friends and family. Honoring Harvs wishes cremation has occurred and a celebration of life memorial service is to be held on July 8, 2017, 1:00 P.M. at the Eagle Church of God, 7087 E. Dover Road, Clare, Michigan, 48617. Memorial Contributions may be made according to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
