Harold James Alburg, 83, of Beaverton, Michigan, passed away at Mid-Michigan Medical Center, Midland, Michigan, on Friday, April 7, 2017. He was born on February 18, 1934, the son of Carl & Helena (Lonsway) Alburg in Saginaw, Michigan. On April 30, 1957, he was united in marriage to Shirley (Conklin) in St. Charles, Michigan. She preceded him in death in 2012. Harold was a veteran, proudly serving his country in the United States Army. He was employed as a millwright for Eaton and Yale, in Saginaw. He has lived in Gladwin County since 1973, previously residing in Carrollton, Michigan. He was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Edenville, Albright Shores Eagles, and the Sanford Moose Lodge. He is survived by his son: James Alburg of Hope, Michigan; grandchildren: Amanda, Abraham, Rebecca, Jacob, Adam; 8 great grandchildren; brother: Bill Alburg of Bay City, Michigan. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; son: Ronald. Funeral Mass will be conducted by Father Dan Fox on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Grace (St. Anne) Catholic Church, Edenville, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Tuesdays, April 11, 2017, from 2-8:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton, Michigan.
