Hanna M. Hudson, 87, of Gladwin, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, August 11, 2019, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born the daughter of Henry & Gladys (Penquite) Meltvedt on January 11, 1932, in Downers Grove, Illinois. She was united in marriage to her first husband William Frei on March 22, 1951 in Roseville. He preceded her in death in 1977. She then married Charles Hudson on July 25, 1980 in Mt. Clemens. He too preceded her in death in 1993. Hanna was a devout Christian. She was a member at Macomb Baptist and later Fostoria Baptist Churches. She loved making kids laugh and teaching them the importance of Faith. When she wasn’t home, Hanna loved traveling and exploring different parts of the world. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Christine Helzer of Sandusky & Barbara (Andrew) Frei-Goodman of Gladwin; stepchildren: Gregory, Charles, Thomas, Mark & Michelle; along with several grandchildren & great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her 2 husbands; parents; daughter: Patricia DuBay; great grandson: Elijah Goodman; sister; 2 brothers. Honoring her wishes she will be laid to rest with next to her loving husband Charles Hudson at Clinton Grove Cemetery, Clinton Twp., Michigan.
