Greg Jacobs, 61, of Gladwin passed away unexpectedly on January 24, 2022. He was born on October 12, 1960, the son of Ronald and Marion (Sharp) Jacobs in Clare. He owned and operated Jacobs Logging and also farmed. In 1985 he married Valerie McKimmy at the Beaverton Church of the Brethren. Greg enjoyed 4 wheeling in Canada, hunting and fishing. Greg liked talking with people and making them laugh. He loved working alongside his sons and was a firm believer in God. Greg attended Cornerstone Baptist Church in Gladwin.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife: Val; sons: Ryan Jacobs and Dan Jacobs; mother: Marion Jacobs; three brothers: Mike, Neal, and Ed; along with many extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father Ronald.
Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Scott Bradstreet on Monday, January 31, 11:00 A.M. at Cornerstone Baptist Church, Gladwin. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 4-8 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home Gladwin. He will be laid to rest at Dale Cemetery, Beaverton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made according to Cornerstone Baptist Church or Donors Charity of Choice. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home.
