Gloria Crawford

April 7, 1930 — May 7, 2022

On Saturday, May 7, 2022, Gloria Dale Crawford, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away at the age of 92, surrounded by family in her home. Gloria was born April 7, 1930, in Detroit, MI to Ida (Bertrand) and Arnold Dale. Gloria was a true Patriot, proudly serving in the US Navy during the Korean War. Gloria went on to earn her bachelors in Elementary Education from Wayne State University. She touched the lives of many with her teaching, eventually retiring from the Saginaw Public School District in 1989. After retirement Gloria enjoyed gardening, drawing, painting, baking, and singing with her family.

Gloria is survived by her children, Mark (Victoria) Swafford of Beaverton, Carol (Glenn) Morin of Saginaw, Linda (Charles) McAbee of Coleman, Dale (Jodie) Swafford of Quanicassee, Janet (William) Ramer of Beaverton and Julie (Kirk) Tremper/Fritz of Saginaw. Her children blessed her with many grandchildren left to cherish her memory, Brant, Dale, Blair, Justin, Seth, Casey, Shawna, Dylan, Jordan, Brooke, Tara, and Devin; along with her great-grandchildren Killian, Shyanne, Aurora, Aria, Kylie, Kaiden, Brandon, Jensen, Jackson, Evelyn, Ella, Emery, and Reid. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John Crawford.

Graveside Services will be conducted on Friday, May 13, 2022, 2:00 P.M. at Arbutus Cemetery, Beaverton. Military Honors will be provided by Gladwin American Legion Post 171. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Homes. www.hall-kokotovichfuneralhome.com
