Gladys Dwyer

Gladys L. Dwyer, age 83, of Gladwin, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024. She was born on February 23, 1940, the daughter of Charles and Lucille Wells, in Cadillac, MI. On May 9, 1959, she married John Dwyer, and they shared many years of love and memories until his passing in 2015.

Gladys enjoyed birdwatching, the great outdoors, participating in T.O.P.S, and was also an avid crocheter. She was a devoted member of the New Beginnings Methodist Church in Gladwin for many years.

Gladys is survived by her children: Kelly Green, Charley (Charlene) Dwyer, Mike Dwyer, Mary (Brian) Stockfisch; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren, with two on the way; siblings: Mary Butcher, Bob Wells, and Donald Wells; along with many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband: John; her parents: Charles and Lucille; sons: John Dwyer IV and Joe Dwyer; and great-granddaughter: Eden Grace Stockfisch.

Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at New Beginnings Methodist Church, Gladwin. Visitation will be held at 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
