Geraldine "Geri" Dundas

Geraldine “Geri” Dundas, 93, of Gladwin, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 20, 1924 the daughter of Gerald & Dorothy (Sweet) Williams. On August 3, 1957 she was united in marriage to Charles Dundas in Angola, Indiana. Geri was a lifetime resident of Gladwin County and she worked at the Peppermill Restaurant, where she will be remembered for her famous cinnamon rolls. She loved everyone and they loved her too and she truly loved her job there. She felt so blessed by all her co-workers and even the customers who would peek their head in the kitchen where she was working just to say “Hi Geri”. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughters: Judy Wolfgang of North Branch, MI; Sandra Riley of Owosso; Linda (Guy) Sharp of Gladwin, MI; Pat Shul of Oklahoma; Susan Dundas of Mt. Pleasant, MI; son: Michael (Barb) Dundas of North Carolina; daughter in-law: Kathy Evanson of Arizona; brother: Jack Williams of Alpena; sister: Elva Mae Barnes of Pontiac. Her children blessed her with 12 beautiful grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren and 9 precious great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband: Charles Dundas; son: Terry Evanson; grandsons: William Bacon and Wayne Sharp; parents: Gerald and Dorothy Williams; sister: Dorothy Watson; brother: Gerald Williams. Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no services at this time. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan. On behalf of the family, they would like to express their sincerest appreciation to the staff of the Gladwin Pines and the caregivers of Mid Michigan Hospice for the wonderful care they provided. The family would also like you to know how very much Geri enjoyed giving and receiving all the hugs from the staff and residents as well, and how much it meant to her that you all believed in the “Golden Rule”.
