George Pember

George Walter Pember, age 68, of Gladwin, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024. He was born on September 22, 1955, to Earl Sr. and Theresa (Grajewski) Pember in Detroit. George worked for Detroit Edison for many years, retiring as a buyer for their Fermi Nuclear Station.

George was a collector and enjoyed assembling puzzles and models. He had a love for socializing, often enjoying a beverage with friends, playing cards, or singing karaoke. He knew how to have a good entertaining time with friends and family.

He is survived by his children: Jason (Joy), Matthew (Cindy), and Nicole (Michael); 5 grandchildren; 4 sisters; and 1 brother.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. at Double H Sports Bar and Grill. A second service will be held on July 21, 2024 from 2:00-5:00 P.M. at Knights of Columbus Wyandotte Council, 3530 Biddle Avenue, Wyandotte, MI.  Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home.
