George William Hooper, 56, of Beaverton, MI, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024. He was born on December 31, 1968, the son of Fred and Ora Hooper, in Gladwin, MI. George loved enjoying life. He spent his free time outdoors, hunting or fishing. Most of all, George cherished spending time with his son, George Hooper Jr., who was his world.
He is survived by his son: George Hooper Jr.; father: Fred J. Hooper, of Beaverton; brothers: William (Tammy) Blake, of Muir, Fred Hooper Jr, of Gladwin, and Jack (Renea) Hooper, of Beaverton; sister: Susan Hooper (Kautz) of Fountain Inn, SC; along with several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother: Ora Jane Hooper (Dunn), and his brother-in-law: Randy Kautz.
Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place and a service will planned at a later date.
