Gary J. Temple I

Gary J. Temple I, 75, of Beaverton, Michigan passed away suddenly at his home on Monday, January 22, 2018. He was born in Saginaw, Michigan on October 27, 1942 the son of Edward & Dorothy (Wendland) Temple. Gary was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, and he was employed as a pipefitter, working at the Saginaw General Motors Plant. He had lived in Gladwin County since 1997, previously residing in Saginaw. He was a member of the Beaverton United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of the American Legion. His memory will be cherished by his daughter: Cindy Hildebrandt of Saginaw, MI; sons: Gary J. Temple II of Sault Ste. Marie, MI; Brian (Stacy) Temple of St. Louis, MI; Joshua Arndt of Beaverton, MI. His children blessed him with 9 beautiful grandchildren and 4 precious great grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his brothers: Jack Temple of Saginaw, MI; Gregory Temple of Bay City, MI; lifelong best friend: Ted Temple of Bay City, MI; special friend: Brenda Pater of Beaverton, MI and several nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister: Laura Temple. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place and Memorial Services will be conducted by Pastor Lynn Chappel on Saturday, February 10, 2018, 1:00 P.M., with visitation beginning at 12:00 P.M. at the Beaverton United Methodist Church, Beaverton, Michigan.
