Gail Huskins

Gail Diane Huskins, 75, of Beaverton, passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021, at McLaren Bay Medical Center. She was born on December 2, 1945, the daughter of Dan and Ethel (Malley) Sharrard in Bay City. On August 3, 1968, she was united in marriage to Richard “Huck” Huskins in Bay City. They were blessed with 37 years of marriage until he preceded her in death in 2006. She was employed as a nurse for Bay Med for several years and later retired as an emergency room nurse for Mid-Michigan Medical Center in Gladwin. Gail loved scrapbooking, traveling, and camping, but above all else, enjoyed spending time with her family.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: William (Rosella) Huskins of Beaverton, Wendy (Daniel) Bridges of Dayton, OH, Brian (Hillarie) Huskins of Rockford, and Jennifer Weaver of Lansing; grandchildren: Ryan, Bradley, Jordanne, Justin, Jazmine, Isaiah, Chase, and Jada; 7 great grandchildren; siblings: Daniel Sharrard, Carol Roe, and Gary (Kathy) Sharrard; along with several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband: Richard “Huck” Huskins.

Funeral Services honoring Gail will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021, 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, from 5-8:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin. She will be laid to rest at New Hope Cemetery. www.hall-kokotovichfuneralhome.com
