Frank Lee Slabic, 83, of Gladwin, Michigan passed away in Midland, Michigan on Thursday, July 20, 2017. He was born in Gladwin on October 13, 1933, the son of Louis & Ina (Boyer) Slabic. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. Frank was a lifetime resident of Gladwin County and he enjoyed hunting, fishing and spoiling his grandchildren. He was employed with Wayne Roberts doing plumbing, worked for Taunt Electric and also Animal Control. His memory will be forever cherished by his daughters: Lea Jo (George) Slabic of Harrison; Linda (Delmer) Bennett of Midland; Susan Mercer of Gladwin; son: Jeff (Jennifer) Slabic of Gladwin. His children blessed him with 6 beautiful grandchildren: Matthew, William, Rachel, Trisha, Jaylynn, and Jolynn. He will be dearly missed by his brother: John (Gail) Gorski of Gladwin and several nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers: Carl and Joe Slabic; 3 sisters: Sophie, Mary and Josephine. Funeral Services will be conducted by Brad Lower on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 from 5-8:00 P.M. He will be laid to rest at Rhodes Cemetery, Rhodes, Michigan.
