Frank John Domako Jr., 86, of Beaverton, Michigan passed away at Mid Michigan Medical Center in Midland, Michigan on Wednesday, March 7, 2018. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 21, 1931 the son of Frank J. Sr. & Mary (Ziegler) Domako. On September 8, 1951 he married his true love Dorothy Kozlowski in River Rouge, Michigan. They shared 64 wonderful years together before she predeceased him in 2015. Frank was a proud veteran of the United States Army, Signal Corps stationed in Korea during the Korean Conflict. He was employed as a Signal Maintainer for the C&O Railroad in Michigan, retiring in 1998 from his Savanah, GA office. He returned to the Beaverton area after retirement, where he had been a previous resident since 1972. Prior to 1972 he resided in Taylor, Michigan. His memory will be forever cherished by his daughter: Deborah Domako of Ludowici, GA; sons: Frank (LuAnn) Domako of Beaverton, MI; Kenneth (Sherral) Domako of Grover Beach, CA; daughter: Nanette Domako of Beaverton, MI. His children blessed him with 10 beautiful grandchildren and 7 precious great grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his brother: William Domako of Fenton; sisters: Dolores (Bob) Hudec of Birch Run; Christina (Jim) Hamilton of Harrison and many nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife and parents. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place with a memorial service to be scheduled at a later date.
