Florence "Flossie" Adams

Florence “Flossie” Adams, 88, of Beaverton, Michigan, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2017, at the Horizon Senior Living in Gladwin, Michigan. She was born on December 6, 1928, the daughter of Francis & Mabelle (Donnley) Callow in Mt. Morris, Michigan. She was a librarian at Beaverton Rural Schools until her retirement. She has lived in Gladwin County since 1973, previously residing in Grass Lake, Michigan. Left to cherish her memory is her children: Pamela (Dave Cushing) Adams of Paw Paw, Michigan; Sandra Skinner of Jackson, Michigan; Daniel (Judy) Adams of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Barbara (Dick) Woodruff of Beaverton, Michigan; grandchildren: Jeff (Jaime Hartzke) Sturgill of Mishawka, Indiana; Paul (Jessica) Sturgill of Cedar Springs, Michigan; Dusty (Shane) Metter of Litchfield, Ohio; Stacy (Matt) Rodgers of Katy, Texas; 9 great grandchildren: Allie, Elyana, Ranger, Kelsey, Cole, Sophie, Emma, Shane, Sydney. She is preceded in death by her parents. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will take place at the Beaverton City Cemetery, Beaverton, Michigan.
